Our trained Psychotherapists and Social Workers work collaboratively with you and/or your family to find ways to best support mental health concerns.

Here at Mindful Mental Health, we operate with a holistic approach. We look at the individual as a whole and use a variety of evidence-based interventions in order to meet the client where they are at. Interventions get tailored to meet individual needs.  

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, often referred to as talk therapy, involves a range of techniques used by trained mental health professionals to help individuals understand and manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. It can address various issues, including mental health disorders, emotional difficulties, and personal challenges.

Why go to therapy?

People choose to go to psychotherapy for various reasons, often related to emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges.

We provide our in-person services at our office located in Whitby, Ontario

and virtual services throughout all of Ontario

Session Lengths: 50-minutes, 30 minutes, 90 minutes

DID YOU KNOW?

Psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP. Some insurance companies will cover the costs of Psychotherapy services. 

OAP funding can also be used towards Psychotherapy Services
